   94.7 QDR and our friends at Crabtree want to put the spotlight on the hard-working teachers around the Triangle who educate, inspire, and motivate our kids to be the best version of themselves.
   
   Somehow ‘Thank You’ isn’t enough – which is why we want to give them special recognition with our QDR Gold Star Teacher of the Month award!
   
   Each month, we’ll choose a nominee and recognize them as the QDR Gold Star Teacher of the Month which includes special recognition on the air, on social media, AND a $100 Visa gift card provided by Crabtree.

   
   While you’re in the carpool lane or helping with virtual learning, send yourself a reminder to help QDR shine the spotlight on the teacher who goes the extra mile for our future!

   QDR Hometown Hero

   We want to know - Who is your Hometown Hero?
   
   Who is the Fearless First Responder that you'd like to recognize for their hard work, dedication and willingness to risk life and limb for your safety?
   
   Then, listen as QDR says thank you to our police officers, fire fighters and healthcare workers each Wednesday at 7:11 am & 9:11 am.
